Tammy Bevins has enjoyed a rapid rise to a position as one of the Charleston area’s most sought after wedding and portrait photographers. An active member of the Professional Photographers of South Carolina and Professional Photographers of America and an award-winning member of Better Photo, Tammy is known for the emotional content of her portraits and her storytelling style of wedding photography.

What sets Tammy apart is her artistic eye. She started as an oil painter and turned to photography when the demands of family life cut into her time to paint. What Tammy found behind the camera has been a blessing to the thousands of people she has photographed since she started.

Tammy is described by her clients as creative and fun to be with and most of them get very teary-eyed when viewing their proofs for the first time and reliving the time they had. Her desire to create images that will thrill your family for a lifetime is evident by her enthusiasm for her work. Tammy owns and operates Tammy Bevins Photography from her home in Summerville, South Carolina, just outside of Charleston. She studied photography at the Gibbes Art Gallery and the Center for Photography in Charleston and has traveled to study under the world’s greatest wedding and portrait photographers.
